Prepare the audio
Use your own file, trim long silence, and start with a short clean piano clip. Audio with multiple instruments or heavy noise is much harder to convert accurately.
Run the conversion
Open the converter, upload the file, and keep the page open while the backend estimates waiting time, processes the queue, and creates the MIDI result.
Check the MIDI result
Download the MIDI and listen to it in the trainer. Compare pitch, rhythm, tempo, and missing notes before deciding whether the source audio or transcription settings need improvement.
Step-by-step workflow
- Choose a short audio file you own.
- Upload it to the converter.
- Wait for queued and processing states to finish.
- Download the generated MIDI.
- Open the MIDI in the trainer and listen for errors.
FAQ
- What file should I test first?
- A short, clean solo piano recording is the best first test.
- What if the result is bad?
- Try a cleaner clip, shorter duration, or report the result through the feedback link.
- Can I compare quality?
- Yes. The project includes a benchmark page for comparing reference MIDI, external MIDI, and generated MIDI.
